In a city teetering between silence and chaos, one final celebration draws all eyes.
Master Meng, the last pillar of a once-mighty family is preparing for his 50th birthday banquet. A renowned physician, he holds the secret to extracting sulfadiazine, a wartime miracle drug more valuable than gold.
His retirement gift? The final batch of the medicine.
His guests? Spies, opportunists, and rivals.
His banquet? A trap, a prize… or something far more dangerous.
Once the gates of the Meng household close, every guest’s fate will be sealed in silence and in shadow.
